HOTFIX RPM is available for Satellite 6.10.3 INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Take a complete backup or snapshot of Satellite 6.10.3 server 2. Download the hotfix RPM attached to this BZ and copy it to Satellite server 3. # yum install ./tfm-rubygem-katello-4.1.1.48-2.HOTFIXRHBZ2059372.el7sat.noarch.rpm --disableplugin=foreman-protector 4. # satellite-maintain service restart I was able to test out the hotfix on 6.10.3 * Upgraded my Sat 6.9 to 6.10.3 which was already configured with an HTTP proxy and a few repos. * Tried to discover and create a docker repo and as usual We hit the issue with satellite trying to connect to localhost via proxy and the task goes into paused state and all other issues will start appearing to happen as expected. * I left that task untouched and applied the hotfix as per comment 7 and restarted the services. * Result: * Was able to resume the paused task and that got completed. * Was able to repo sync the same docker repo as well. * Was able to discover new docker repos as well as yum repos without any problems and sync them as well. * Existing repos getting synced as well. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
