Description Jakub Kadlčík 2022-03-08 14:16:48 UTC
Please build fedora-packager for EPEL9 as it is a missing runtime dependency for tito.

Comment 1 farrotin 2022-06-09 13:40:38 UTC
just installed a new laptop with RHEL9 and actually needs fedora-packager because of pkinit : on https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-accounts/user/#pkinit

Comment 2 Davide Cavalca 2022-07-19 23:06:33 UTC
Will you be able to branch and build fedora-packager in epel9?
The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer
if you do not wish to build it on epel9.

Comment 3 Carl George 🤠 2022-10-28 02:55:14 UTC
A scratch build for epel9 worked, and the resulting packages install on RHEL 9 with EPEL enabled.

Comment 5 Chen Chen 2022-12-15 06:22:28 UTC
Made yet another scratch build for epel9 and it work perfected. I need the 'fkinit' command to access koji and fedpkg.

Comment 6 Chen Chen 2023-02-18 14:19:55 UTC
The package owner was inactive. Quoting:

The following 15 provenpackagers have not submitted a Koji build since
at least 2022-08-03 00:00:00:
...
mohanboddu

The package might be orphaned in a week. Hope someone else will take care of it.

Comment 7 Davide Cavalca 2023-03-29 18:47:49 UTC
Filed a stalled EPEL package ticket at https://pagure.io/releng/issue/11365

Comment 8 Fedora Admin user for bugzilla script actions 2023-03-30 12:03:49 UTC
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
