Description Michal Josef Spacek 2022-03-16 15:40:05 UTC
Latest upstream release: 5.34.1
Current version/release in rawhide: 5.34.0

Comment 1 Fedora Update System 2022-03-16 15:41:31 UTC
FEDORA-2022-cea638ebd4 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 36. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-cea638ebd4

Comment 2 Michal Josef Spacek 2022-03-16 15:46:39 UTC
Minor release of 5.34 version of Perl.

For f35, f36 and rawhide

Comment 3 Petr Pisar 2022-03-17 10:28:50 UTC
When building it for F35, please build perl into a side-tag together with the few package which requires exact perl version. E.g. polymake and perl-PAR-Packer. Unfortunately, "dnf repoquery --whatrequires 'foo = version'" query is not supported by DNF, so I cannot provided you the an exact list of the packages. By using a side tag, you can create an atomic Bodhi update with all the packages which needs to be updated together.

Comment 4 Fedora Update System 2022-03-17 17:10:36 UTC
FEDORA-2022-cea638ebd4 has been pushed to the Fedora 36 testing repository.
Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command:
`sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2022-cea638ebd4`

Yes, I understand now, that I need to do this things. Thank you for info.

Comment 6 Paul Howarth 2022-03-21 09:18:33 UTC
When is the f35 build likely to happen? I'll need to know the name of the side tag if I'm to do the perl-PAR-Packer and polymake builds.
