Description of problem:
The corners of my touchpad caused my browser to go back/forward in the browser
history with a default install of fc5.  This is totally unexpected (not to
mention unwanted) behavior from a touchpad.

To disable it I first attempted to follow the suggestion in the synaptics
webpage to add Option "RBCornerButton" "0" (and similar lines for the 3 other
corners) to my xorg.conf, but this did not solve the problem.

I was able to workaround it by adding Option "TouchPadOff" "2" to my xorg.conf
file, and could find no other way to do it.  Fixing the documentation would be a
good start; adding a gui to manage synaptics options would be better.

How reproducible:
install fc5 on a laptop with a touchpad.  Open a web browser, browse to at least
2 different pages, then touch the bottom corners of the touchpad.

please note that Fedora no longer maintains these releases. We strongly
encourage you to upgrade to a current Fedora release. In order to

If this bug is still open against Fedora Core 1 through 6, thirty days
from now, it will be closed 'WONTFIX'. If you can reporduce this bug in
the latest Fedora version, please change to the respective version. If

This bug is open for a Fedora version that is no longer maintained and
will not be fixed by Fedora. Therefore we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen thus bug against that version.
