Looking at the original reason for python-magic was orphaned, it looks like we might finally abandon the python version of this package? Package has been retired due to missing dependencies. Anyway someone needs to pick these up if they would like to see this back in Fedora. Easier for a current Fedora Packager to do that of course: anyway the process is https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Package_Retirement_Process/#claiming (with step 0 being "become a Fedora Packager" if one isn't already).
