ncurses-compat-libs was dropped in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ncurses/c/e9317e9d5d60bbafccec65f4181e05425db1a13b?branch=rawhide I'm sorry for the trouble. It seems the dependency was added in 2018. Is it still needed? It was a requirement, I can't find the original page that indicated that. Is there an alternative that should be considered; I suppose ncurses-devel is, theoretically, all I need? ncurses-libs contains the current version 6 of ncurses, while ncurses-compat-libs had the previous version. Does this take care of it: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-3680424730 It does, thanks. This is a F37+ only change , fixing this in F36 is not necessary. Hopefully, whatever thing originally needed the ncurses-compat-libs dependency was rebuilt with ncurses 6. Hello, Please note that this comment was generated automatically. If you feel that this output has mistakes, please contact me via email (mhroncok). All subpackages of a package against which this bug was filled are now installable or removed from Fedora 37. Thanks for taking care of it! |
