Description Vojtech Trefny 2022-04-27 08:39:15 UTC
Trying to get free space for an existing PV results in an AttributeError:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  File "/usr/lib/python3.6/site-packages/blivet/threads.py", line 53, in run_with_lock
    return m(*args, **kwargs)
  File "/usr/lib/python3.6/site-packages/blivet/formats/lvmpv.py", line 173, in free
    pv_info = pvs_info.cache.get(self.device.path)
AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'path'

This is already fixed the latest upstream release and should be backported to RHEL: https://github.com/storaged-project/blivet/pull/976

Checked that python-blivet-3.4.0-12.el8 is in nightly compose RHEL-8.7.0-20220626.0

Moving to VERIFIED
