Description of problem:

rhythmbox does not appear to ship with RHEL9.  Can this be branched for EPEL9 so I can continue to use my favorite music player?

Definately, this software is missing in the distro. I guess, some wayland issues.
Please... update us when ready... we all are expecting.

There is no way to install from tarball directly.

I've been using https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.gnome.Rhythmbox3 as a workaround for now.  But having an RPM would make life much easier.

Now it is May, 2023 - still no Rhythmbox, no Gnome music, or any other dedicated music player. Apparently everyone thinks that no one is using RHEL9 as a workstation, but yes we do!

I am also using RHEL 9.3 Workstation and would like to have the Rhythmbox as a RPM package.
