Description Jamie Zawinski 2006-09-30 05:20:15 UTC
With gdm 2.6.0.8 on FC4, I could say:

    TimedLogin=/usr/local/sbin/kioskname|

and it would use the output of that shell script as the name of the user to log in.

This no longer works in 2.14.0 on FC5.

I need this so that each of my kiosks can automatically log in as a different
user, when running as remote thin clients with LTSP. If there is some way to
achieve this in FC5, I don't see it...

Hi,

We no longer support Fedora Core 5 and I am currently trying to get my open bug
count down to a more manageable state. I'm going to close this bug as WONTFIX.
 If this issue is still a concern for you, would you mind trying to reproduce on
a supported version of Fedora and reopening?

(this is a mass message)
