Description of problem:
After booting to runlevel 5, it is impossible to get back to a text VC. The
video card is a Rendition V2200 AGP. When I switch to a text VC, the screen
freezes but the system does not hang (I can switch back to the X VC and continue
using the system).

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot into runlevel 5
2. Press <Ctrl><Alt><F1>
3. Observe that screen is frozen
4. Press <Ctrl><Alt><F7>
5. Observe that screen is unfrozen

I haven't been able to reproduce this on rawhide for the past few months. Closing.
