I checked the doc https://dxp-docp-prod.apps.ext-waf.spoke.prod.us-west-2.aws.paas.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openshift_data_foundation/4.10/html-single/replacing_devices/index?lb_target=preview and found the new changes as defined here https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/red-hat-openshift-container-storage-documentation/openshift-data-foundation-documentation-4.10/-/commit/1ca42c93628b13f4257a816b4bb75a4143dab747. 
I found four occurrences of the change above in the document and didn't find the old version.

Also, I tested the new commands with a VSphere LSO 4.11 cluster and got this output as expected:
