Description Yaacov Zamir 2022-05-24 14:30:14 UTC
Description of problem:
Cant create snapshot if VM is without disks

Snapshots capture vms configuration not just disks, we should allow for trapshooting a vm without disks / or disks that support snapshoots.

The allert "Snapshot only includes disks backed by a snapshot-supported storage class", is incorrect, we snapshot the vms state, not just disks, the allert needs to be removed.

We should only alert if user has disks that are not snapshot-able.

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Snapshot a vm with no disks
2. Snapshot a vm with on non-snapshot able disks
3. snapshot a vm with a mix of snapshot able and non snapshot able disks

Actual results:
A user can't snapshot a vm with no disks
A user is always alerted about snapshoting vm with non snapshotable disks

Expected results:
A user can snapshot a vm with no disks
A user is alerted about snapshoting vm with non snapshotable disks only if non snapshotable disks exist
