This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component. This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component. *** Bug 2283667 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Gentle ping on this issue; I'd like to be able to use my favorite console text editor when SSHing into servers. Also note there are upstream updates available for this package https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2238002 Any update on this? Currently I'm doing the following on systems I'm using epel9 on which is not ideal: ---< start clip >--- # /etc/yum.repos.d/epel8.repo [epel8] name=Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux 8 - $basearch # It is much more secure to use the metalink, but if you wish to use a local mirror # place its address here. #baseurl=https://download.example/pub/epel/8/Everything/$basearch/ metalink=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-8&arch=$basearch&infra=$infra&content=$contentdir enabled=0 gpgcheck=1 countme=1 gpgkey=https://dfw.mirror.rackspace.com/epel/RPM-GPG-KEY-EPEL-8 ---< end clip >--- and using "sudo dnf --enablerepo epel8" when I need to install or update micro. Will you be able to branch and build micro in epel9? I would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish to build it on epel9 (FAS: jonathanspw). |
