Description Denis Fateyev 2022-06-07 20:49:22 UTC
Description of problem:
Please provide "golang-gopkg-logex-1" package in EPEL9.

Bug has been opened against rawhide, since there were no "golang-gopkg-logex-1" packages in EPEL earlier.
The provision looks trivial, a simple rebuild from rawhide should be enough.

Comment 1 Denis Fateyev 2022-06-12 15:18:08 UTC
Could you please push the package update?

Comment 2 Denis Fateyev 2022-06-22 21:07:37 UTC

Comment 5 Ben Cotton 2022-08-09 13:42:32 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 37 development cycle.
Changing version to 37.

Comment 6 Mikel Olasagasti Uranga 2023-10-07 21:47:30 UTC
Is this still required? What's the status?

Comment 7 Denis Fateyev 2023-10-11 09:02:26 UTC
It is still needed. A year ago, I prepared but unpushed the update. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2022-80e037541a

There was a related ticket BZ#2100618 which is migrated, and I don't know its current status.
It may be no more actual due to lots of changes introduced since that time.

Comment 8 Denis Fateyev 2023-10-11 12:45:30 UTC
Mikel, you can reassign it to yourself if you're interested in fixing it shortly.
Unfortunately, I am just busy with other things so cannot investigate it now.

Comment 9 Aoife Moloney 2023-11-23 00:13:03 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 37 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 37 on 2023-12-05.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
'version' of '37'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, change the 'version'
to a later Fedora Linux version. Note that the version field may be hidden.
Click the "Show advanced fields" button if you do not see it.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora Linux 37 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora Linux, you are encouraged to change the 'version' to a later version
prior to this bug being closed.

Comment 10 Aoife Moloney 2024-02-15 22:55:05 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 40 development cycle.
Changing version to 40.

Comment 11 Denis Fateyev 2024-11-25 19:12:36 UTC
The `golang-gopkg-logex-1` package already present in epel10.
