Upon review of our valid but aging backlog the Satellite Team has concluded that this Bugzilla does not meet the criteria for a resolution in the near term, and are planning to close in a month. This message may be a repeat of a previous update and the bug is again being considered to be closed. If you have any concerns about this, please contact your Red Hat Account team. Thank you. Hi, I looked at our Satellite instance and I can see that the text info is already fixed with the following text: The BMC password will be used by Satellite to access the host's BMC controller via a BMC-enabled capsule, if available. The password will not be accessible to other users; enable the bmc_credentials_accessible setting to permit access via templates and in the ENC YAML output. IMHO you can close it as duplicate or fixed. Thanks, Kobi Closing per #3 as fixed in current release. If you feel there is still something that should be addressed here, feel free to reopen. |
