This was a recent regression in the rawhide Xen HV just before RHEL-5's version; the fix is from upstream xen-unstable and is needed to allow Xen boxes to reboot. kernel/devel: PatchSet 4041 Date: 2006/10/04 18:45:00 Author: sct Branch: HEAD Tag: (none) Log: Fix for oops on reboot of xen dom0 (bug 209315) Members: kernel-2.6.spec:1.2737->1.2738 xen-dom0-reboot.patch:INITIAL->1.1 in kernel-2.6.18-1.2718.el5 This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release. A package has been built which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of CURRENTRELEASE. You may reopen this bug report if the solution does not work for you. |
