I reported this problem to Mesa at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/6710 I'm reassigning this report to mesa given Vlad Zahorodnii's comment at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=455630#c1 and Nate Graham changing the KDE report's status to upstream https://bugs.kde.org/show_activity.cgi?id=455630 openQA tests are frequently hitting this crash, which is a significant reliability issue (I have to keep restarting tests that fail because of this crash). openQA uses qemu-kvm VMs with virtio graphics (similar to the libvirt default config, though it does not use libvirt). FEDORA-2022-3c2f8b2a0d has been submitted as an update to Fedora 36. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-3c2f8b2a0d airlied hopes that mesa-22.1.3-3 should fix this (thanks a lot dave!) It's already in today's Rawhide, and https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-3c2f8b2a0d is the update for F36. FEDORA-2022-3c2f8b2a0d has been pushed to the Fedora 36 testing repository. Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command: `sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2022-3c2f8b2a0d` You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-3c2f8b2a0d See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates. FEDORA-2022-3c2f8b2a0d has been pushed to the Fedora 36 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. |
