Description Niels De Graef 2022-06-21 07:51:39 UTC
For RHEL 9, we switched from PulseAudio to Pipewire as the default audio engine in RHEL. We don't expect any regressions for customers, but for safety we'd like to provide a fallback to switch back to PA.

Enabling that fallback is decribed in bug 2065167, but that requires also being able to install alsa-plugins-pulseaudio, which is not part of Appstream right now. To have a good customer experience, we'd like to add this.
