Description Link Dupont 2022-06-23 19:57:04 UTC
Description of problem:
rhc-worker-playbook fails to execute a time-consuming playbook

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhc-worker-playbook-0.1.5-3.el8_4
rhc-0.2.0-1.el8_4

How reproducible:
Conditionally; requires the above packages and an Ansible playbook that takes a considerable amount of time to execute

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send a time-consuming playbook to rhc-worker-playbook on a RHEL 8.4 host

Actual results:
Jun 23 15:11:13 localhost.localdomain rhcd[1075]: [rhcd] 2022/06/23 15:11:13 cannot send message ce23adec-e140-41da-a78a-3e06b26e4f52: rpc error: code = DeadlineExceeded desc = Deadline Exceeded

Expected results:
rhcd should continue to receive updates and the RPC method call should not time out.

Additional info:
This is fixed in upstream 0.1.7.

This will require a zstream backport of 0.1.8 to RHEL 8.4.

To find the migrated issue, look in the "Links" section for a direct link to the new issue location. The issue key will have an icon of 2 footprints next to it, and begin with "RHEL-" followed by an integer. You can also find this issue by visiting https://issues.redhat.com/issues/?jql= and searching the "Bugzilla Bug" field for this BZ's number, e.g. a search like:
