isn't this an expected behavior based on the current design i.e with https://github.com/openshift/console/pull/10547 last selected node is persisted in session and is shown preselected if the user goes to topology and as in this case hover and drag is a selection event on the node and thus if user presses cancel user is shown with the selected node? Have attached the gif as well for it. PTAL and let me know your thoughts Thank Jai for looking into this issue. In the Topology, when we select any context option by right click on any node which redirects to another page (eg. Edit deployment option) and comes back to the Topology then Node is not selected. But the node gets selected when I select the option from the connector context menu. So, I think it not a expected behavior the node should not be selected on selecting any option from the context menu. verified on build version: 4.12.0-0.nightly-2022-10-25-210451 verified on browser: chrome v106 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
