Please, add the mount option `-o context=XYZ` in the CSI drivers to speed up SELinux relabelling.

This is the epic: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/STOR-438

In theory, it should not require any changes in CSI drivers.

Thanks!

Marking this as a tracker for the OCP Storage epic. Ideally no changes to Ceph-CSI are needed, possibly only a new option in the CSIDriver config.

Comment 27 Niels de Vos 2023-03-30 07:55:50 UTC
There does seem to be an issue with Ceph-CSI where it does not pass the mount options from Kubelet. This is a bug that needs to be addressed, removing the tracking-only annotations.

The work on this feature is tracked at https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHSTOR-4507, please us that for the latest updates.
