Description Gary Scarborough 2022-07-09 15:15:59 UTC
Description of problem:

Having clear predefined output of relevant host settings makes auditing kickstart files easier

Technical requirements:

Can https://github.com/theforeman/foreman/commit/143054a6c7bf9006969a616a1b4408050abf90c5 be added to satellite?

Comment 2 Leos Stejskal 2023-05-05 11:37:21 UTC
BZ doesn't have any release flag, now it's merged in 6.14 (stream) but it hasn't been marked for the older releases.

Comment 4 Shweta Singh 2023-06-26 05:54:56 UTC
Verified.

Version Tested: Satellite 6.14.0 Snap 4.0

Verification Steps:
1. Enable repos, setup content view, setup vlan-id and create a host.
2. Provision the host.

Observation:
Check the metadata added in "kickstart_default" and "preseed default" is present in the templates and are correct.

Result:
The templates have correct and expected metadata present.
