Description Peter Ondrejka 2022-07-15 12:38:27 UTC
Description of problem:

This bugzilla aims to summarize some downstream packaging requirements for the rex pull provider dependencies, just to make sure nothing slips

For capsule:
- mosquitoo (MQTT broker) is currently only available in EPEL, satellite-installer tries to install this package when running with --foreman-proxy-plugin-remote-execution-script-mode=pull-mqtt

For client:
- yggdrasil (MQTT client)
- katello-pull-transport-migrate (conversion tool for client)

Comment 1 Adam Ruzicka 2022-07-15 14:42:19 UTC
@jlenz IIRC there used to be a plan to ship k-p-t-m as an rpm which would execute the script in %post. Was this plan abandoned?

@aruzicka No, it was completed: https://github.com/theforeman/foreman-packaging/pull/7970

Comment 3 Adam Ruzicka 2022-07-15 14:48:13 UTC
Ah, I've missed that somehow, cool.
