Description W Agtail 2006-10-15 17:33:57 UTC
Description of problem:
Could we have a new feature that woulld allow to install a Xen guest off a ISO
image?

EG: virt-install -d -n xen1 -u 1 -r 256 -f /xen1.dsk -s 8 -p -l
nfs:192.168.0.2:/ISOs/Linux/FC5/x86_64/

On 192.168.0.2:/ISOs/Linux/FC5/x86_64/ would be ISO Image:
FC-5-x86_64-DVD.iso

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
python-virtinst-0.95.0-1.fc6

Many Thanks.

It could be done -- you can make it work now by making an images/xen directory
in the dir with the iso and copying the files from images/xen in the ISO to the
directory.

This report targets FC6, which is now end-of-life.

Please re-test against Fedora 7 or later, and if the issue persists, open a new bug.

Thanks
