Retested with python-blivet-3.4.0-16.el9 and the problem is fixed, however in order to use the DDF RAID array in the installer I had to manually assemble the array, otherwise the disk was not visible in the installer:
# mdadm --assemble --scan

and then rescan the disks in the installer (thanks vtrefny for the hint).

The problem with the array not being assembled and visible in the installer has been reported as a separate bug 2120690.

Marking as Verified:Tested, SanityOnly (not tested on real HW)

Checked that python-blivet-3.4.0-16.el9 is in nightly compose RHEL-9.1.0-20220824.0

Moving to VERIFIED
