Description Dalibor Pospíšil 2022-07-28 13:32:17 UTC
Description of problem:
Use openssl library rather than libgcrypt for hashing, etc.
It simplifies the maintenance and reduces the number of dependencies as the openssl is already fetched by other dependency. Openssl is also well maintained and there's also a significant potential for a performance improvements due to use of specific instruction sets on various hardware.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Actual results:
fapolicyd requires libgcrypt

Expected results:
fapolicyd requires openssl
