When i access mailboxes via pop3 i have 'strange' messages on syslog:

Mailbox vulnerable - directory /var/spool/mail must have 1777 protection.
----------------------------------------------------

My mailbox have 775 root.mail permissions.
On RedHat 6.1, 7.0 and imap-2000 update this bug not found.

Has the system in question had the imap-2000 errata applied?  This should be
fixed in that version.

But this update have troubles with nsnotify from Netscape for Win32. And not handle mbox.

Please apply the latest errata as Nalin has suggested and see if the
problem goes away. Be sure to restart the daemons if you update them.
