Description Mike Ely 2022-08-03 19:51:29 UTC
Please branch and build man-db-cron in epel9.

Comment 1 Maxwell G 2022-08-03 21:07:24 UTC
Hi Mike,

Can you please make your request on the epel-devel mailing list[1]? The Package Review component is not the proper place for this. It also seems that the man-db package is part of RHEL 9, and the man-db-cron subpackage is built, but it is not shipped. In this case, it's also worthwhile to file a bug against that package in RHEL asking them to ship the missing subpackage. In the meantime, an EPEL packager who is willing can provide the missing subpackage in EPEL.

Please let us know if you have any further qquestions.

Hi Maxwell,

I'm very sorry - was attempting to follow the instructions given for EPEL package requests using Bugzilla and did not intend to send this to the wrong list.

Mike
