Description Guohua Ouyang 2022-08-12 02:07:50 UTC
Description of problem:
There are 3 descriptive texts for a stopped VM:
1. Guest agent is required
2. Not available
3. VirtualMachine is not running

Problems found:
1. "Guest agent is required" shows when VM is off, it should only show when VM is running without the guest agent installed.
2. Not clear when to use "Not available" and when to use "VirtualMachine is not running".
3. on a stopped VM overview tab, the hostname shows "Guest agent is required", but on details tab, the hostname shows "Not available".

Comment 1 Hilda Stastna 2022-09-06 11:40:25 UTC
After the discussion with Yifat, Matan and Guohua, we came with these solutions on the problems mentioned in the description:
1. We will display “Guest agent is required” only when the VM is running, but without the guest agent installed.
2. We will leave this as it is.
3. We will use "Not available", as it is more general.
