Description Oliver Ilian 2022-08-19 07:39:49 UTC
Description of problem:
When trying to invoke an ansible role job, the user suddenly gets an error (this was working before):

"Oops, we're sorry but something went wrong Broken pipe @ io_writev - <STDOUT>"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.11.1

How reproducible:
not reproducible at the moment (fixed by reboot at the moment as a workaround)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to tab hosts
2. Selecting one or more hosts (doesn't matter which one)
3. Select "Run Ansible Roles"

Actual results:
instead of the job invocation screen, the error message appears

Expected results:
the job invocation screen should appear

Additional info:
Currently, the issue can not be reproduced, as the customer needed to reboot the server (the error happened in Prod). So currently the system is running as expected again.
