the .spec file needs to be altered to rebuild as i586, i686, or athlon due
to the exclusivearch line

while RH doesn't generally build specifically for these platforms, others
may and there is nothing that makes this package i386 only

I suppose. There's absolutely no reason to build it for any
other arch though.

it isn't so much for trying to speed up this one particular application, as for 
rebuilding a slew of SRPMS for a different target -- adding in these other 
archs prevents and error from appearing, that's all

in other words, it would be nice to change/fix this in other SRPMS that have 
the same problem
