This bug was initially created as a copy of Bug #2120799

I am copying this bug because: 

stalld should be kept synced where possible

Description of problem:

Typically there are not a large number of commits between versions in stalld, so this is targetted to late in the development cycle, just to clean everything up, drop external patches to the RPM and make sure the customers have the latest and greatest.
