Description Davide Cavalca 2022-08-24 17:24:28 UTC
Please branch and build arm-none-eabi-gcc-cs in epel8 and epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain arm-none-eabi-gcc-cs in epel8 and epel9,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/arm-none-eabi-gcc-cs/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

Comment 1 Davide Cavalca 2022-08-24 17:27:29 UTC
Note that this will need to be built twice to bootstrap the toolchain alongside arm-none-eabi-newlib (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2121173)

Comment 2 Michal Hlavinka 2022-08-30 20:52:22 UTC
as mentioned in arm-none-eabi-binutils-cs bug, I will create epel branch once needed build dependencies are available

Comment 3 Davide Cavalca 2022-10-30 17:02:56 UTC
All dependencies for this should now be available. Will you be able to branch and build arm-none-eabi-gcc-cs in epel8 and epel9? Thanks!

Comment 4 Michal Hlavinka 2022-10-31 15:43:23 UTC
branches epel8 and epel9 were created
builds for epel8 and epel9 succeeded
group added as collaborator for epel*
