Description Matthew 2006-10-25 18:34:16 UTC
Description of problem:
After installation I cannot login as any user.
I had to load the kernel in single user mode, made another user besides root,
still couldn't login.
FIX: Set selinux to run in permissive mode

Comment 1 Matthew 2006-10-25 18:35:20 UTC
The installation was done from the textmode installer.

Comment 2 Daniel Walsh 2006-10-25 19:34:43 UTC
Do you have any avc messages in /var/log/audit/audit.log or /var/log/messages?

What file system are you using?

Comment 3 Matthew 2006-10-25 19:55:14 UTC
Aha, you got me. ReiserFS3. Should some kind of check be put in that disables
SELinux if installing on reiserfs3? Or at least a warning? I'm lucky in that
I've heard of this, but I still forgot.
