I'm working on it, it should be done tomorrow. The library is used and it works. # rpm -qa alsa-lib alsa-lib-1.2.8-1.el9.x86_64 # rpm -ql alsa-lib | grep /usr/lib64/ /usr/lib64/libasound.so.2 /usr/lib64/libasound.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib64/libatopology.so.2 /usr/lib64/libatopology.so.2.0.0 Sound works properly. [lhc@flatworm ~]$ rpm -ql alsa-lib | grep /usr/lib64/ /usr/lib64/libasound.so.2 /usr/lib64/libasound.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib64/libatopology.so.2 /usr/lib64/libatopology.so.2.0.0 *** Bug 2141219 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Sound works on RHEL-9.2 with alsa-lib-1.2.8-3.el9.x86_64, tha package is in the nightly build, therefore this BZ stays VERIFIED. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
