Description Davide Cavalca 2022-09-09 16:02:34 UTC
Please branch and build python-virt-firmware in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain python-virt-firmware in epel9,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-virt-firmware/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

Comment 1 Davide Cavalca 2022-09-17 05:04:33 UTC
Will you be able to branch and build python-virt-firmware in epel9?
The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer
if you do not wish to build it on epel9.

No.

Running through the approval process to add the package to
centos9/rhel9.2 appstream right now, it should land in centos
soon.

Packages being in both rhel/centos and epel is not allowed.

That works too, thanks for the heads up. Is there a ticket I can follow tracking the addition to appstream?
