Description Ondrej Moriš 2022-09-12 13:55:00 UTC
Description of problem:

Changes in java caused crypto-policies self-test to fail. Self-test is executed during the build (%check target) and hence the package cannot be build from the sources. This issues affects the package in RHEL-8.6 and later.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.345.b01-1.el8_6

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Build the package from the source.

Actual results:

Checking policy EMPTY
Empty policy has ciphersuites!
make[1]: *** [Makefile:54: check] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/tmp.NaLkM5ZNba/BUILD/fedora-crypto-policies-ae470d6-ae470d6c5ee633d77c3ae9bcebf748fb3dad9507'

Expected results:

Build succeeds.

Additional info:

This problem does affect RHEL-9.0 but not RHEL-9.1.
