By all rights, it looks like the library can be unbundled and packaged separately? The scons build script supports being built as a shared library even. (In reply to Neal Gompa from comment #3) > Why is cbang bundled in here? By all rights, it looks like the library can > be unbundled and packaged separately? The scons build script supports being > built as a shared library even. Two reasons: - first, the developer does not want to put efforts into maintaining its shared use by camotics, please, see https://github.com/CauldronDevelopmentLLC/cbang/issues/30. Joseph, the author of camotics, is a developer of a cbang lib as well; - second, I did not find another project that uses cbang. I know that bundling is not welcome and I personally don't like it too. I will see if the the camotics being built with a shared version is functional. Thank you Thanks for attempting to unbundle. (In reply to Benson Muite from comment #5) > Thanks for attempting to unbundle. Benson, that wasn't straightforward, but I managed. Please, see bug 2129304 and bug 2129303 It was not possible to unbundle cairo and pixmap from camotics itself as it uses some ancient version last committed six years ago. I am sorry that it hasn't been reviewed yet. Let me trigger the Fedora Review Service to see if the package builds successfully. Hopefully, a green check mark will attract some reviewer. If I am resurrecting an old ticket that you are not interested in anymore, my apologies, feel free to close it. [fedora-review-service-build] There seems to be some problem with the following file.
