Description of problem:
When I choose Fedora Core 6 in GRUB and I run it, it freezes after "Booting the
kernel". Without the "quite" parameter it freezes after these rows:

PCI: BIOS Bug" MCFG area at e0000000 is not E820-reserved
PCI: Not using MMCONFIG
PCI: Using configuration type 1

When I edit GRUB and append "acpi=off", problem disappear.

That sounds very much like a BIOS/kernel problem, so i'm reassigning it to the
proper component.

Hello,

I'm reviewing this bug as part of the kernel bug triage project, an attempt to
isolate current bugs in the Fedora kernel.

I am CC'ing myself to this bug, however this version of Fedora is no longer
maintained.

Please attempt to reproduce this bug with a current version of Fedora (presently
Fedora 8). If the bug no longer exists, please close the bug or I'll do so in a
few days if there is no further information lodged.
