Gamemode extension is recommended by the steam package from rpmfusion as so has a potentially higher exposure than other packaged extensions. There is an upstream patch [0] and backporting MR [1].

Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 37-final by Fedora user frantisekz using the blocker tracking app because:

 Gamemode extension is recommended by the steam package from rpmfusion as so has a potentially higher exposure than other packaged extensions.

The decision to classify this bug as an AcceptedFreezeException was made:

"The decision to classify this bug as an "AcceptedFreezeException (Final)" was made as it is a noticeable issue that cannot be fixed with an update."
