Description Vadim Raskhozhev 2022-10-03 14:29:59 UTC
Description of problem:
any Perl code that attempts to use JSON-RPC-LWP crashes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): perl-JSON-RPC-LWP-0.007-9.fc36.noarch

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. perl -MJSON::RPC::LWP -e 1

Actual results:
You can only consume roles, MooseX::Deprecated is not a Moose role at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/Moose/Exporter.pm line 418
	Moose::with('MooseX::Deprecated', 'HASH(0x56498a3cb970)') called at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/JSON/RPC/LWP.pm line 169
	require JSON/RPC/LWP.pm at -e line 0
	main::BEGIN at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/JSON/RPC/LWP.pm line 0
	eval {...} at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/JSON/RPC/LWP.pm line 0
Compilation failed in require.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted.

Expected results:
No errors

Comment 1 Yanko Kaneti 2022-10-03 15:24:25 UTC
Thanks for the report.

I haven't noticed that perl-generators is not able to pick up the Moose specific 'with' for MooseX::Deprecated.
Please manually for now dnf install perl-MooseX-Deprecated

I'll issue an update with a hardcoded Requires
