Description of problem:
The rebase would fix RHEL-8 tickets https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2111348 and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1991619. Additionally, to avoid regressions, it would fix the currently open RHEL-9 ticket https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2124030 as well.
