Please branch and build open-eid in epel9

Comment 1 Germano Massullo (Thetra) 2022-10-24 15:33:16 UTC
No I won't build for EPEL 9 and EPEL 9 next since I have just retired the Estonian ID card software stack from EPEL 8 / EPEL 8 next for lack of time.
Feel free to join to maintain such branch if you wish

I am interested in helping to maintain the ID card software for EPEL9. I have never done packaging for a binary distribution before but I have maintained packages for Gentoo.

Hello thank you for your interest.
To join Fedora package maintainers you should go through
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Joining_the_Package_Maintainers/
read
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/
and also keep in mind #fedora-devel Libera chat channel, which is very important to ask for help (aside mailing lists) when you may need help during packaging process.

Cheers
