Matt, how hard would it be to make the installer specify which disk it is about to wipe? Would it simply be an extension of the existing sprintf? Which install class was this? Custom, server, or workstation? I am fairly sure it was custom - because I was installing on a SCSI disk - when the main system lives on an ISA disk. I don't think that the other classes allow this (?). I'd just installed the SCSI controller and disk - and the disk was blank. I was using Disk Druid (I think). Sorry about the imprecision of response, this happened some time back and I am jsut revisiting things.
