Description Benson Muite 2022-11-01 12:01:56 UTC
When testing Apache Arrow on CentOS7 which is based on RHEL7, an error in strptime() causes a test to fail[1]. There is an appropriate patch[2]. Can this be backported?

This issue has been addressed in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.

RHEL 7 is currently in Maintenance Support 2 Phase. According to our policy, “During […] Maintenance Support 2 Phase for Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions […] 7, Red Hat defined Critical and Important impact Security Advisories (RHSAs) and selected (at Red Hat discretion) Urgent Priority Bug Fix Advisories (RHBAs) may be released as they become available. Other errata advisories may be delivered as appropriate.” Based on the available information, this bug does not qualify.
