cannot reproduce on main branch
after a short conversation with @upalatuc this was fixed by: https://github.com/kubevirt-ui/kubevirt-plugin/pull/920
moving to `ON_QA` to be verified by QE

The issue still happens by selecting a template which has no boot source.

The issue is still presenting on newer version, the VM name field is blank if clicking too quickly.

Can you please share more details about this bug? 
Did this happen to all the templates or just some of them? 
Can you please attach also the yaml so I can try to reproduce this?
