Description nijin ashok 2022-11-03 09:43:18 UTC
Description of problem:

Install Kubernetes NMState Operator on 4.10 environment which is having nmstate-handler managed by CNAO. After the operator installation, migration was initiated and completed but the pdb for nmstate-webhook was not deleted from openshift-cnv namespace.

So the user will get PodDisruptionBudgetLimit alerts because there is no nmstate-handler in openshift-cnv namespace.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

OpenShift Virtualization 4.10.6

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Kubernetes NMState Operator on 4.10 environment which is having nmstate-handler managed by CNAO.

2. The pdb nmstate-webhook is not removed from openshift-cnv.

Actual results:

nmstate-webhook PDB is not removed during migration to Kubernetes NMState Operator

Expected results:

nmstate-webhook PDB should get removed during migration.
