Description sbbro805 2006-11-04 07:59:26 UTC
Description of problem: Gnome crashes in an endless loop: "The application
gnome-panel has crashed". Clicking close does nothing but bring up another
dialogue box, over and over and over again. Logging in as root rectifies this
issue.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

gnome-desktop-2.16.0-1.fc6

How reproducible: Undetermined - Gaim and Firefox were open.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in under my profile
2. Error message pops up
3. Taskbar freezes, ALT+CTL+BACKSPACE to exit

Actual results:

Expected results: Gnome-panel remain stable, no endless loop error messages.

Comment 3 Ray Strode [halfline] 2008-03-18 18:40:55 UTC
Hi,

We no longer support Fedora Core 6 and I am currently trying to get my open bug
count down to a more manageable state. I'm going to close this bug as WONTFIX.
If this issue is still a concern for you, would you mind trying to reproduce on
a supported version of Fedora and reopening?

(this is a mass message)
