Description of problem:

No sensors found for the new Intel Core2 chipsets.
Solution: 
  Support for lm_sensors is in the svn repository. The corresponding pathces to
the kernel are available at
http://lists.lm-sensors.org/pipermail/lm-sensors/2006-October/018100.html

This provides readings for the temperature, but nothing else.

As soon as a final version of lm_sensors comes out with Core2 support i'll pick
it up and build it.
