Description of problem:
Trying to provision a RHEL 9 system with Satellite 6.11 kickstart infrastructure. 

It fails with this:

Why is /run/anaconda/initrd_errors.txt (and /run/anaconda) missing?

Not sure, whatever comes with Satellite 6.11 / RHEL 9

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
Run provisioning

Actual results:
Dropped to emergency shell

Expected results:
The actual error is shown

Additional info:
The failed installation is tracked in support ticket 03333044 and bug 2138320 but the missing initrd_errors.txt might be a general problem, masking the actual problem.

I've checked the log, and as already mentioned in the duplicate bug, these all seem to be just warnings. The cause of the failure is kickstart timeout -- So either it took much long than expected (you can raise the timeout), or the kickstart has stuck/failed on some point. It would be best to follow up on that path first (i.e. starting with some minimal kickstart and seeing if that fails, and in what conditions).

As mentioned in https://github.com/dracutdevs/dracut/issues/2047#issuecomment-1342764207 it's most probably not a dracut issue; it might be anaconda (dracut) module issue, but it would be very hard to procceed without reproducer.

I haven't seen the issue after upgrading the operating system used by the satellite installer from 9.0 to 9.1. Same kickstart files.

Not fixed in the code so your issue was probably suppressed by something else.

Anyway the upstream fix is available here: https://github.com/rhinstaller/anaconda/pull/4665
